What is pixel density
Pixels per inch (PPI) is a measurement of the pixel density (resolution) of devices in various contexts: typically computer displays, image scanners, and digital camera image sensors.
The PPI of a computer display is related to the size of the display in inches and the total number of pixels in the horizontal and vertical directions.

More on pixel density
If you want to calculate pixel density of your screen, you will have to know: horizontal and vertical pixel counts and your diagonal screen size. Then apply this formula, or use our calculator;)
\(
d_p = \sqrt{w^2 + h^2}
\)
\(
PPI = \dfrac{d_p}{d_i} \ \
